Moulin Rouge: Mostly a Singing Book...

I would have wanted to know that it wasn't a piano solo book. My boyfriend can't play some of the songs because the melody is carried in the singer. I wanted a piano book. The quality of the book was great and it shipped on time.

Not Exactly for Solo Piano

If you love the music from Moulin Rouge and you happen to play the piano fairly well, this book is for you! I absolutely love Nature Boy, Your Song, One Day I'll Fly Away, Come What May, El Tango de Roxanne, and Complainte de la Butte; these sound beautiful on piano alone, but the other songs seem lacking without accompanying instruments. Contents aside, the book arrived in stellar condition with brilliant colors, crisp new pages, and music I adore. I would recommend this book to intermediate/advanced pianists or high-aspiring beginners.

I got it for my son and he said, "It's a great book...accurate and includes both the melodies and counter-melodies in the music. I recommend it for anyone who loves the music in the movie and wants to learn how to play it."
